How booking a journey works
Dudhwa Safari Experiences is operated by Safari Vista India. These terms explain how an enquiry becomes a confirmed journey. The specific terms for your journey, including the price, the payment schedule and the cancellation terms, are set out in writing in your proposal before you pay anything.
Enquiries and proposals
Sending an enquiry places you under no obligation. After we have spoken, we send a written proposal describing the journey, what is included and what is not, its price, and the terms that apply to it. A proposal is valid for the period stated in it, subject to the availability of permits and accommodation at the time you confirm.
Confirming a journey
A journey is confirmed when you accept the proposal and we receive the advance payment it specifies. We then begin securing permits, accommodation and other arrangements on your behalf. The balance is due on the date stated in your proposal.
Changes and cancellations
The cancellation terms that apply to your journey are stated in your proposal, because they depend on the accommodation and arrangements it includes. If you need to change your dates or your plans, tell us as early as possible and we will do what we can.
Permits and park rules
Safari permits are issued under the rules of the forest department, which decides zones, timings, vehicle numbers and closures. Reserves may change timings or close zones at short notice, and wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed. Where a permit or zone becomes unavailable, we will propose the best available alternative.
Your safety and conduct
On safari you travel with a naturalist and, where required, a local guide appointed under park rules. Their instructions on safety and conduct in the reserve must be followed at all times.
